An awareness program titled "Dengue Disease Awareness and Keep Our Environment Clean" was conducted in Maruthamunai last Sunday. 'People Hands' organized this program with the sponsorship of Divisional Health Office, Kalmunai Municipal Council, Hatton National Bank.
This program was undertaken in various area in Maruthamunai including Makbooliyapuram, France City, Akbar Village.
The Chairman of ‘Peoples Hands’ Mr. Nowzad and The Consultant Mr.MIA. Jabbar were the key role in organizing this awareness program. The upper Level students of Al-Manar Central College, Shams Central College, Al-Hambra Vidyalaya and Pulavarmani Sharifudeen Vidlayala were also attended.
Mr. MIA. Jabbar said that three individuals from Maruthamunai were identified as patients infected by dengue virus and further he narrated that ‘Peoples Hands’ was putting their effort to reduce the affects caused by the dengue virus.
‘மக்கள் கரங்கள்' அமைப்பு கல்முனை பிராந்திய சுகாதாரப் பணிமணை, மாநகரசபை, ஹற்றன் நெஷனல் வங்கி ஆகியவற்றுடன் இணைந்து நடைமுறைப்படுத்திய “டெங்கு நோய் விழிப்புணர்வும், சூழல் சத்திகரிப்பு நிகழ்வும்” கடந்த ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை மருதமுனையில் நடைபெற்றது.
மருதமுனை மக்பூலியாபுரம், பிரான்ஸ்சிற்றி, அக்பர் கிராமம் உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு பிரதேசங்களிலுள்ள மக்களுக்கு டெங்கு நோய் தொடர்பான விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்வுகள் ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்படடிருந்தன. சில இடங்களில் காணப்பட்ட நோய்க்காவிகளும் அழிக்கப்பட்டன.
‘மக்கள் கரங்கள்’ அமைப்பின் பணிப்பளர் நௌஷாட் அபூபக்கர், நிபுணத்துவ ஆலோசகர் M.I.A. ஜப்பர் ஆகியோரின் நெறிப்படுத்தலில் நடைபெற்ற இவ்வேலைத்திட்டத்தில் அல் - மனார் மத்திய கல்லூரி, ஷம்ஸ் மத்திய கல்லூரி, அல் - ஹம்றா வித்தியாலயம், புலவர் மணி ஷரிபுத்தீன் வித்தியாலயம் ஆகியவற்றின் உயர்தர மற்றும் சாதாரணதர மாணவர்களும் பங்கெடுத்துக்கொண்டனர்.
மருதமுனை நூறானியா வீதி, சமுர்த்தி வீதி, ஹாஜியார் வீதி ஆகிய சுற்றுப்புறச் சூழலில் மூன்று டெங்கு நோயாளர்கள் அடையாளம் காணப்பட்டுள்ளனர் எனவும் இதனை இது இன்னும் பரவக்கூடிய வாய்ப்புள்ளது எனவும் இதனைக் கட்டுப்படுத்தவே தாங்கள் இவ்வாறான வேலைத்திட்ட ங்களை முன்னெடுத்துள்ளன என அமைப்பின் ஆலோசகர் M.I.A. ஜப்பார் தெரிவித்தார்.
