There was a Cultural Programme "KALAIKKATHIR - 2010" organized by Shams Central College, Maruthamunai. The primary section students expressed their talent on this show. The event was presided by the college principal Mr. SLM. Jalaludeen. The chief guest was HON. ML. Thulkar Naheem , LLB(Member of Eastern Provincial council) , and the guest of honours were Mr. MS. Abdul Jaleel (Deputy Director of Education ), Al-Haj. HMA. Wadood (Divisional Eduation Officer), Al-Haj. ZM. Natheer (Assistant Director of Education ) and Al-Haj. AL. Sakaaf (Assistant Director of Education ).
மருதமுனை ஷம்ஸ் மத்திய கல்லூரி "கலைக்கதிர் - 2010" எனும் ஒரு கலாச்சார நிகழ்வை மருதமுனை மக்கள் மண்டபத்தில் நேற்று மிகவும் கோலாகலமாக நடத்தியது. கல்லூரியின் அதிபர் Mr. SLM. ஜலாலுத்தீன் தலைமையில் நடைபெற்ற இந்நிகழ்வில் பாடசாலையின் ஆரம்ப பிரிவு மாணவர்கள் கலந்து தமது திறமைகளை வெளிப்படுத்தினர். நிகழ்வுக்கு பிரதம அதிதியாக கிழக்கு மாகாண சபை உறுப்பினர் HON. ML. துல்கர் நயீம் அவர்களும், கௌரவ அதிதிகளாக பிரதி கல்வி பணிப்பாளர் Mr. MS. அப்துல் ஜலீல், பிரதேச கல்வி உத்தியோகத்தர் Al-Haj. HMA. வதூத், உதவி கல்வி பணிப்பாளர் Al-Haj. ZM. நதீர் உதவி கல்வி பணிப்பாளர் Al-Haj. AL. சக்காப் ஆகியோர் கலந்து சிறப்பித்தனர்.
